Time - 11:30 AM – 01:00 PM
Moderator – Amitabh Kant
What is this session about?
A panel of business and thought leaders discussing what it takes for a business to step out of the comfort zone and transform into a responsible business.
Indian businesses can play a critical role in transforming India into an inclusive economic powerhouse. This transformation will only be complete if businesses meet their responsibilities towards their workers and suppliers, as well as to society and the environment, together with their responsibilities towards their shareholders.
Courageous and farsighted leadership is necessary for businesses to change from the present narrow view of ‘the business of business is only business’ and begin to play their role as trustees of society’s assets who are responsible for the long-term sustainability of growth.
