Call for Paper on Business and Human Rights

The Indian Law Institute (ILI) in collaboration with the Human Rights and Business Academy (HURBA) and Oxfam India is organizing a conference on Business and Human Rights. Scholars, practitioners and students engaged with the field of Business and Human Rights are invited to submit papers on issues of responsible business, corporate accountability and sustainable development. The papers will contribute to one of the most important debates in the current era: The roles and responsibilities of businesses and governments in ensuring sustainable and inclusive development for all. Selected papers will be given a presentation slot at a conference on Business and Human Rights organised at Indian Law Institute on July 12, 2019.

The conference believes that Business and Human Rights has a special contribution to make to an interdisciplinary scholarship on this challenging topic because of its ability to address questions of sustainable development through a range of different disciplines and approaches.
